Recently, we interviewed Kevin Bondy, one of our Veteran employees, about his military experience.  Kevin joined the Heart ‘n Home team in May 2016 as the Audio Visual Designer. Heart ‘n Home prides itself on being an employer and hospice provider that honors and recognizes service Veterans and active military members. In fact, Heart ‘n Home has received the “Above and Beyond – Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve” award.  The Senate first passed a resolution in 1999 designating National Military Appreciation Month, which encourages U.S. citizens every May to observe the month in a symbol of unity and to honor the current and former members of the armed forces, including those who have died in the pursuit of freedom and peace.

Audio/Visual Documentation Specialist (Video Production)

Where did you attend MOS school?
Lowry Air Force Base, just outside of Denver, Colorado

What ranks did you hold?
E-1 through E-5 (Private – Sergeant) 

Where were you stationed?
29 Palms, California (The Stumps) 

What was your most memorable experience during your time of service?
Having a job that I truly enjoyed as well as the comradery that the Marines are known for.
