Heart ‘n Home’s La Pine, Oregon, office recently received recognition for their service to their community.
On September 28th, Theresa Hane on behalf of the La Pine office accepted the La Pine Community Service Award at the town’s Oktoberfest. Annually La Pine’s Lions Club and the mayor of La Pine select an organization and individual for their La Pine Community Service Award. They look for strong community service towards helping others in our small city with big hearts and make LaPine a better place to enjoy & live.
This year Kay Nelson was awarded the 2019 Individual Community Service Award. Heart ‘n Home won the 2019 Community Service Organization. Our team was honored to be chosen, but extremely happy and excited for Kay. Our team has had the pleasure of working with her for many of the local Veteran activities. She has been an incredible example to our team on the “gift of giving.” Our team is blessed to be apart of our amazing community. We look forward to helping others in the years to come.
This is the 3rd year for the community award named the Piney Awards. “Both of this year’s recipients -Heart ‘n Home and Kay Nelson- have contributed immeasurably to the community and, in turn, the community thanks them very much,” says Daniel Richer, mayor of La Pine.
Heart ‘n Home’s La Pine team is a great example of our commitment to serving not only our patients and families but our whole communities. Well done La Pine team!
