As the topic of COVID-19 continues, we want to reassure our patients and their families that we are taking this situation very seriously. The safety and well-being of those we serve is a #1 priority in our care. We have always followed strict procedures regarding sanitation and safety, but have implemented additional actions to ensure the protection of our patients, families, community (facilities) and staff. We are committed to diligent handwashing, hygiene, sanitizing equipment, and infection control procedures. We are also not allowing visitors into our buildings at this time, and doing daily staff temperature and symptom checks. Office staff have been separated and are taking extra precautions.
We are also checking in with and supporting all our facilities and following their requests for visits (e.g., limited staff entry, wearing masks, screened at the door, etc.). We have implemented a plan for staff and are updating them regularly following the CDC, World Health Organization, as well as state and local health authorities of the communities we serve. We have also reemphasized the importance of health standards through education and trainings. In addition, we have canceled all grief groups temporarily until further notice.
We’re committed to making every experience safe and as always have nurses available 24/7 to assist you in any way possible. As you navigate current times, know that our team is here for you! We are all in this together.
