August means one thing in the city of Caldwell, RODEO TIME! The Caldwell Night Rodeo is a local community event that brings the “Rowdys” and the “Civies” together for nights full of fair food, bronc ridin’, calf ropin’, barrel racin’, bull ridin’, and old fashion fun!
The Caldwell office is honored to show our support by participating every year in the Caldwell Night Rodeo’s Power of Pink Walk/Run. This
fundraiser and family event is open to the elderly, children, and adults. All proceeds go to women under-served, uninsured, and under-insured for breast cancer screenings.
A few days before the rodeo, the Caldwell office opens the conference room to the Power of Pink committee members and assists in filling hundreds of goodie bags for race participants when they cross the finish line! It is a wonderful example of building meaningful relationships and teamwork to fill those bags.
On race day, the Caldwell office arrives ready to stroll in all their finery! There is a trophy at stake as Caldwell has won Best Theme and Best Dressed for the last several years. This year was no different! Most importantly, the sense of camaraderie and community that this event brings is above all. It is an excellent way for Heart ‘n Home to continue affirming lives, building meaningful relationships, committing to purpose, and demonstrating respect and compassion for survivors and acknowledging those lives lost to breast cancer.
