Become a BEACON OF LIGHT

The Beacon of Light Program at Heart ‘n Home is focused on education and outreach to our faith-based communities. Heart 'n Home views the Beacon of Light Program as an extension of the churches' ministry and recognizes faith-based organizations as a cornerstone in our communities. Through the Beacon of Light Program, Heart 'n Home strives to collaborate with faith-based leaders to ensure the end-of-life needs are met for their church family.

“The growing alliance between religious and health communities represents one of the best solutions to the social and human
problems that divide our nation.“

~Virginia Schiaffino
Director of National Federation of Interfaith Caregivers

Beacon of Light Presentation

In an effort to continue providing end-of-life education and provide the needed resources to congregations, Heart ‘n Home provides short presentations (30 minutes to 1 hour) or individual meetings with religious leaders (15-20 minutes) on hospice services, healthcare resources, and becoming a hospice volunteer! Many organizations have found the presentation extremely helpful to their congregates and even comforting, knowing what support is available to their faith-based families.

Heart 'n Home has presented to nearly all ministries, groups, or boards inside a church, small or large, we are happy to accommodate your needs.

Beacon of Light Newsletter

Heart ‘n Home distributes a Beacon of Light Newsletter which includes a Beacon of Light Spotlight, recognizes an organization or congregation, and offers helpful tips on multiple topics such as grief and loss, Spiritual Health, aging in America, and many others upon popular request.

If you, your church, or your congregation are interested in receiving the Beacon of Light Newsletter and/or would like to schedule a presentation, contact us today at 1-800-HOSPICE.

“What I appreciate most about Heart ‘n Home is that they keep me and other area churches informed.  They provide information that allows me to help families in crisis and grief. This helps these families to make better end-of-life decisions.”
