It’s about receiving comfort and care. It's about surrounding yourself and your loved ones with emotional, physical, and spiritual support. Hospice doesn't give the power to shorten or prolong life, just the power to live it as you choose; to be at home, if you wish; to be pain-free; to be comforted and cared for.

Heart 'n Home Hospice & Palliative Care provides hospice services to patients throughout Idaho's Treasure Valley and surrounding communities as well as Eastern Oregon's Malheur, Baker, Union, and Deshutes Counties. All Heart 'n Home Offices are open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with on-call Nursing Services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Bereavement Volunteer TrainingJune 20, 2013 - June 20, 2013 |

On Thursday, June 20th, the Fruitland office will be hosting a Bereavement Volunteer Training from 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm. This class is for any Volunteer who would like to work with bereaved family individuals after a patient passes away. This could mean monthly phone calls, or possibly weekly visits depending on the individuals needs. This is also a way for Volunteers to continue contact with a caregiver after the patient passes away. Bereavement visits are for 13 months following the death of a patient. Please RSVP to your Volunteer Coordinator by June 13th. | |||

Celebration of Life is a time where our communities can come together with the purpose of honoring our loved ones who have passed away. This event is open to anyone who has lost a loved one and you are encouraged to spread the work and invite others who would like to come and celebrate while enjoying some nice music and refreshments.
